The FilamentFactory offers a variety of different spinning and drawing technologies.

Our filament yarns for technical applications are produced batch-wise in a melt spinning process. The essential difference in the production of polyester technical yarns is the drawing process. The FilamentFactory employs all the latest technologies for controlled drawing by heated godets. With this method are we able to adjust the mechanical properties of the yarn within narrow limits and this gives us the flexibility to meet our customer requirements.

High-Performance Dyes Mixing and Metering Technologies 

Three technologies have been developed to produce spun-dyed yarn:

  • Gravimetric Metering of Masterbatch into an Extruder
  • Melted Masterbatch Metering from a Side Feed Extruder into the Main Melt Flow through a 3DD Mixer
  • Liquid Dye Metering in Polymer Melt through a 3DD Mixer
