COMPACT BAND FILTER –

Our compact band filter RKF is a filtration system
constructed with a round filter bed.

Thanks to the compact construction, this filtration
principle with a high hydrostatic medium pressure
on the woven filter medium results in a substantially
smaller floor space requirement as compared to the
traditional flat-bed filters and filtration systems.

Function

The medium to be filtered flows through the
inflow box into the filter trough
The filter fleece traps the dirt particles as the
medium flows through
With increasing dirt deposits on the filter fleece,
there forms a filter cake, which traps even the
smallest particles
From a certain level, the filter fleece gets
pushed through
The filtered medium collects in the output tank
By selecting the corresponding filter fleece
qualities, it is possible to achieve the most
varied filtering grades

Applications

The device is optionally available with an output
tank and a discharge pump. The electro-control can
be wired via a terminal box or it can be a separate
controller.

The device is used for applications like

Cleaning of degreasing baths, pre-treatment
baths
Sludge dewatering, wastewater treatment
Cooling water cleaning, cooling lubricant
treatment
